What Is Therapy?

Therapy, also called psychotherapy or counseling, is the process of meeting with a therapist to resolve problematic behaviors, beliefs, feelings, relationship issues, and/or somatic responses (sensations in the body). Beginning therapy can be a big step toward being the healthiest version of yourself and living the best life possible—no matter what challenges you may be facing.

I meet with clients for therapy sessions virtually from the comfort of your own home anywhere in Oregon or Texas. I use the zoom platform and will email the personal/private link prior to our appointment. The online platform is HIPPA compliant and gives us access to be interactive during sessions

• Rates •

I am an out of network provider which means I do not bill insurance directly, the client is responsible for payment at the time of appointment. Clinician can provide a superbill which clients can submit to their insurance for reimbursement.

BILLING POLICY

1. Appointments must be cancelled 24 hours in advance or client will be charged the full session fee. After 3 cancelled appointments, the counselor reserves the right to change the cancellation policy with written notice. Payment for sessions cancelled without notice is expected prior to scheduling the next appointment.

2. Fees are to be paid at the time services are rendered. Debit, credit, and HSA are accepted.
3. An encounter form, verifying client's payment for session, is provided should client wish to file an insurance claim.
4. The client or responsible party is ultimately responsible for any fee for services rendered.
